This relay and start capacitor increases compressor starting torque by 600%. It can be used in a multitude of HVAC applications in domestic AC or Commercial HVAC units, compressors from 18000 to 120000 BTU, 1 1/2 HP to 10HP. Works on 115V to 288V. Works on PSC single-phase A/C applications. Use for tight compressors, low voltage situations... it is quick recycling.
