Easy extra measurements for your thermostat

Posted by Unknown on Aug 22nd 2018

These have worked well for me. I use one to carry around to hot or cold spots, with the thermostat (T7900 -- must have latest firmware) set to average. The enclosure is bulky and only designed for screwing to a wall, but tough and not too conspicuous sitting up on a shelf. I have a second one measuring return temperature and a third outside (so that can be captured from the API which doesn't report the outdoor conditions from the internet shown on the thermostat). The thermistor sensor included for optionally wiring to the remote can also be wired directly to the thermostat. The Android configurator app for setup is a bit clumsy but has always worked and is even well documented in the print instructions included with the sensor. The sensors connect fine from anywhere in the house even when the batteries get low. The price on these here is the best I found anywhere.
